De Rommel Hemel
Bert Hana

Verbond tegen de Liefde in coproductie with Over het IJ Festival

We are in a place that is not of this world – call it heaven – where Angel holds her ground among lost souls and lifeless things. Sobered by the arrival of the ice rabbits, she shares her concerns and dreams with us and goes in search of the lost and forgotten tales of De Rommel Hemel. De Rommel Hemel takes place in the second-hand goods store Kringloopwinkel De Lokatie, and tells the lives and life stories of residents of Amsterdam–Noord. Poignant and secret tales in a living décor of fascinating bric-a-brac. De Rommel Hemel is a visual, absurd and poetic performance about the past and present of goods, and the simple joy of sunshine that breaks through the clouds or a freshly brewed cup of tea. If you spot an attractive lamp or a charming bag during the performance, rest assured in the knowledge that everything is for sale afterwards!
